Weird fear of someone making fun of name

My wonderful husband.. has a name that some people laugh at when they hear... and it doesn't bother him and in fact he LIKES his name! But I HAVE THE PROBLEM! I am so in fear of people hearing his name and laughing that i do everything to avoid situations where names are talked about or of bringing it up. It's SICK and i'm in MISERY - like I'm "hiding and running"... I know it's insane but I can't shake it. Is it a fear of rejection? What the F is this??? I've talked to a few people and I still can't shake it. Does anyone have ANY idea what to do here? Click here to read or post comments.
