Terrified of most insects but mainly spiders

well i am terrified of most insects but mainly spiders.lately it has gotten better but before whenever i saw a spider later i would feel them crawling on me and would keep trying to slap them away, but it was always my imagination.

Now i just try my best to stay away from any insects including butterflies or any pictures of them.

I also have another phobia, and that's of swimming races. That is kind of annoying because when we have pe and they try to force me to swim i just stop breathing and become on the verge of tears at the idea of me in a race. I'm not worried that i'll drown or lose, it's just that i always freeze up in the water and stop breathing...strange, i don't even get it.
