My scriptophobia has gotten better through the years. There was a time when I couldn't write anything in front of anyone. Now I have a desk job where I must write in front of people all day long. It is funny but I am fine as long as I am on my turf. I have even considered becoming a notary to really add the icing on the cake. The one thing I still cannot conquer is getting my drivers license renewed. For some reason that is the one thing that can still debilitate me. I obsess about it constantly and one time I was unable to fill out my application. The attendant had to do it for me!! Now that time is coming up again. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue and thought I was the only one! I have made excuses for not filling out paperwork in front of others and even had to get my friend to fill in my banking and end of day paperwork at my previous retail job. I find drinking alcohol makes it worse the following day for me too.I now take anti depressants and they are helping slightly but am still fearful of confrontation.

i have exactly the same problem, can't fill out a simple form in front of anyone, because of that am not working, am afraid to go out and seek a job because i will have to write infront someone. Whenever i'm alone at home my writing in perfect.

i too have similar fear of writing since 5 years. i can't write anything in public. even i can't sign when being watched by anyone. what to do? how to cure it?

i too have similar fear of writing, i shake just filing out a simple form infront of anyone, even signing my name, i'm awfully embarass and would give the world to overcome this problem, question is, what can be done ?
