I have Podophobia, fear of feet

I am 18 years old and am a senior in highschool, but each day in a struggle. I have a condition known as podophobia, or the fear of feet.

I know it is weird and quite childish, but it is not a joke. When i see bare feet, I feel a large amount of anxiety come over me and i get very paranoid. Shoed feet are fine, but feet in socks or bare feet, just make me uncomfortable.

If i am touched by feet, I feel extremely dirty and i feel like i have to bath. I know, childish, but this is no joking matter. Everyday is hard for me, but i make it though.

It is good to know that there are others out there in the world that have the same thing as me.
