pop culture

I blame pop culture for this one. Today's culture has promoted the 'affectionate' side of humans so much, but in such the wrong way.
It seems that everything is expected, and one can't wait for anything. Just move at your own pace, and know that no one can make you do anything.
But that's not curing your fears, is it?
Not sure about the curing part, though. Just find someone you trust and get to know them, or something.

I can't even imagine how u feel

After reading you fear page, i can't even imagine how u feel on a daily basis dealing with this.

I had a look over the internet, and there is thousands of sites dealing with this fear.

I'm only 18 so my advice probley will lack in maturity, but have tried telling one of those two boys who really like about ur fear, maybe one of them will be understanding enough to want to be with you, until you are ready to over come it.

I know how you feel

Just wanted to let you know I know how you feel. I had the exact same problem when I was in my late teens. It was horrible. When I had my first boyfriend I would even write secret letters to him (that I knew I'd never post!) apologising for never having kissed him. I'd cry myself to sleep at night.

However one day, completely unexpectedly, he just did it. I didn't even move my mouth and felt really stupid and didn't enjoy it at all. But it broke the spell and after I couldn't get enough of it...

See if you can get the courage to ask someone you trust to kiss you and see what happens :-)
