Gecko Phobia

My name is Brandy, im 24 and live in Texas now. I grew up in New Jersey, and had not seen a clear or grey gecko till I moved south. Ever since I saw one, I have been totally petrafied of these. They seem to be everywhere and I can not stay out past dark bc thats when they seem to come out. I cant find the name for this gecko phobia, or a way to repel them. It effects some aspects of my life bc I cant seem to clean out sheds or any outside building bc i always find them and have to stop. I dont know what to do to get less afraid but I cant even think of them wo my skin crawling and when I see one I start to panic, I cant move and my heart speads up, I start to sweat and just cant stand it.
