fear of wet textures like lotion

I have always had to dry myself immediately after getting wet, but as I get older, this discomfort has increased to almost like a phobia of lotion or other oils. I like it when someone else puts it on me, but i cringe when i think of touching it with my hands. i have a hard time putting lotion on my kids, etc. i think it has mostly to do with my palms? i dont know.
