Even I have this fear of sounds of crackers since childhood. I want to get rid out of it from 25 years still nothing is helping me out. If you have any solution to get rid of it please let me know.

hello friends!i am doing my third year b.tech.it is diwali today.i have gained a lot of friends this year. most of the boys in my class are very close and friendly to me.one boy even gifted me a cracker box for diwali. i am happy that he gave me a gift but very sad that i cant enjoy my gift because i dont like crackers and i am scared of it!you cant even imagine how scared i am of crackers!even when someone else is bursting crackers i used to run inside my room closing my ears so tight that i cant hear even a decibel!my ears will start aching after closing it so tight.when all my friends heared about my fear of crackers,they said that they couldnt believe it.they also added a comment saying that"we thought you were a bold girl".i feel bad!i really want to get rid of this fear!help me!

Hi, Me too have the same problem from childhood. Still couldn't find any way to cure this. Please any one suggest how to getout from the problem.
