Fear of slits or holes in objects

For some weird reason, i have a fear of slits or holes in objects, like the + sign at the bottom of an olive (shiver). I think it all started with a visit to the nearby vet to check up on my pet when i was litle, and the memory stuck with me ever since. (this is kind of gross) There was a model of a dogs heart but it had a slit in it, and since i REALLY LOVVEEE dogs, this traumatized me formy entire life. Now whenever i see a hole or slice in something, like a half-cut open fruit, i breathe heavy and *basically* am terrified for a few seconds. It hasn't realy effected my life, but i don'tknow it it's a rare case or not. :/
