I don't like it either

I'm not phobic of it, but understand why people could be. I hate the texture of it. If it's fruit it's just gross, but if it's cos the food is old, spit it out & throw it away! While phobias can develop & cause people great distress, this started off as a defence mechanism with certain foods like dairy products back when we lived in caves & hunted for food, to warn us that the food is potentially harmful. It also reminds some people of vomit, even the good for you fruity lumps. So I totally understand why you're phobic of it.

Hey,I have the same fear. It helps if you eat non-flavored yoghurt, which doesn't have that many lumps.

As I was saying

I share your fear of lumps, and my fear extends to any white, gooey dairy products--caused from my grandmother giving me a big spoonful of cottage cheese when I thought it was ice cream.
