Fear of driving to unknown places

Hi, I am 25 years old and for as long as I can remember I WILL NOT drive to places I do not know how to get to.I wil drive around town...no problem but ask me to drive to any place I have not been before I completely flip-out!

My husband and other family members don't understand what I am going thru. I am very embarrassed about it. On occasion I will challenge myself to drive a little passed my comfort zone. It has helped but I still get awful panic attacks when I try.

WHAT IF I GET LOST? WHAT IF I DRIVE TO THE WRONG PART OF TOWN? WHAT IF I CAN NOT FIND MY AY HOME??
