Fear of dirty bathrooms

I have fear of dirty bathrooms. When I was a child, I went to Sea World with my cousin and some family. I remember us driving around looking for a place to park, and I had to use the restroom really bad. Finally after a good 30 minutes, we got in and started to look for a somewhere to go. My cousin and I found a restroom, so we told his mom that we would be back shortly.

The most vivid memory I have of that day was walking in the restroom, and freaking out because it was dirty and had a flickering light. So I wanted to turn around and leave but there was no handle to pull the door open, and yet you had to push to get in. We both started to panic and didn't know what to do. Finally after some time had passed we realized that the bathroom had two doors. One was an entrance and the other was an exit.

We finally got out and things were fine, at least I thought. For some odd reason from that day forward I have had a fear of dirty bathrooms. If I walk into a restroom, regardless if it's a public one or even the one in my own house, I will absolutely flip out if it is dirty. What I mean by dirty is like black mildew growing in the corners of the shower, dirty/stained/rusted toilet, and dim/flickering lights. I will refuse to even step foot in it.

I use to be worse, but now I have gotten better. I still have this fear and it won't go away, no matter what I do. I also cannot eat or drink near a bathroom. I have no idea why but I will find it ridiculously gross and want to throw up.
