bowel movement produces panic

I've been a panic sufferer for around 10 years. I'm pretty much ok except for having a bowel movement. I can usually tell I need to go when I get this sinking feeling.
I start to get dizzy and the rapid heart pounding begins. I can only attribute this to a phobia. I'm not certain what has caused my "fear" of having a bowel movement. It's very distressing and affects my life greatly.
I sometimes try not to eat, thinking if I don't eat I won't have to go, thus avoiding the panic attack associated with it.
I understand there's a natural anxiety associated with bowel movements, the urge. Mine for some reason goes way beyond that and I've found no way to ignore or stop it.
